No sooner had theatres in Europe returned to post-Covid normality, no sooner could one hope to breathe, than the situation became terribly tense because of Vladimir Putin's senseless invasion of Ukraine. All cultural institutions have made decisions accordingly. Wanderer will continue to report on the performances, but we are aware that the sound of war is giving these reports a bitter taste.
